Demons and the underworld are they all bad. This makes you think of satan,aka the devil, bad things and hell and punishment. Demons in general are supposed to be the devil’s henchmen. They can posses you, talk you into doing things not in your character. Overall, reality tells us to avoid all things demonic. But what if all demons are not bad. Maybe the angel they used to be is still in there somewhere. They regret their decision to follow Satan all those eons ago. They made a bad decision. I am sure we can all relate to that.
One of my favorite authors Larissa Ione has written a series of books on just such a scenario. Demons who are basically good and do no what to see Satan take over the world. however because they are demons, they can never go back to heaven and are doomed to spend eternity in hell, they are trying to keep others from making bad decisions in the human world. They police their own kind so to speak.
In Larissa’s Demonica series, a group of demon brothers, Seminus Demons – sex demons, have opened a hospital that caters to the demon world. They also, on occasion, help the wayward human who has somehow contracted an illness due to a demon attack or bite.

Good stuff, right!!! The whole series is on edge like this. It keeps you guessing and the heroines are just as exciting as the heroes, in this case the demons. Some are human but not all. Their lives are just as chaotic as ours. Life lessons can be found throughout the whole series. Bad decisions made, friends who are not really friends, staying in a bad relationship just for the companionship are just a few of the situations that you will find in her series.
