Plus sized fashions do not have to be drab and unflattering. Bold, beautiful and plus-sized is a statement you should be showing the world. Trying to mold yourself into something you are not comfortable with will only leave you unhappy and miserable.  Being a plus-sized person myself, I view myself as big, bold and beautiful.  As a result, I want my clothes to reflex how I feel about myself.

The Plus-sized woman is a proud, bold, beautiful and sexy trend setter.  We are no longer going to hid our bodies and be ashamed of who and what we are.  Yes we are plus-sized but that does not mean we are unhealthy, miserable, undesirable woman who do not know how to dress and look and feel beautiful.  Most of us are independent, beautiful, business women and entrepreneurs.   If you take the time, you will notice a lot more about us other than our size.

We have a great fashion sense and most of us have a wonderful self-esteem.   Fashion is just another way that we can express our independence and differences.  From Lingerie, swimwear to formal wear, we in the plus-sized community will be fashionable.

Plus-sized fashions and trends: Big and Beautiful!!!

Being a plus-sized woman should not make you feel like you can’t look good.  Bold and sexy is not just for the average sized woman.  Being confident in yourself and showing it helps others see your character and personality.   Don’t hide who you are just because of your size.  If you love you, then be proud of you.

Plus-sized fashions should not make you feel inferior to the average person.  In the past, I will admit that the clothes for the plus-sized woman was not the most flattering things to wear.  They were shapeless, dull-colored and in my opinion tasteless. However, there were no other options at the time to wear anything else.

What Changed!!!!

We did, the plus-sized world.  We let them know that we love who we are.  As a plus-sized community, we are proving that there is a fashion market out there for us.  There are designers who enjoy making something for the bold and beautiful plus-sized woman.

These are just a few of the designers who cater to we plus-sized divas. And YES, we are divas.  We no longer have to hide behind those old, outdated clothes of the past. As a whole, let us take the fashion world by storm!!! From lingerie, swimsuit, business wear, workout clothes, shoes and even evening and wedding dress, plus-sized clothing is available.

Plus-sized fashions: Be Healthy and Beautiful

Being plus-sized does not mean that we should not be healthy, too.  No, we don’t need to fit into the “mold” the world thinks all women should be in.  However, we do need to strive to be healthy.  Getting our blood pressure, glucose and other issues under control is a big issue, not only with plus-sized but the world as a whole.

Respiratory and heart disease is a killer.  So let us be mindful in our pursuit to find ourselves. Be the bold, beautiful, plus-sized people that we are. We want to ensure that we enjoy all the things this world has to offer and be able to spend time with those we love and care for.

Have a good vitamin regime, see your doctor regularly and do something physical everyday.  A short walk, some stretches in the morning or before bed, have a good balanced eating program goes a long way in sustaining a healthy mind and body.

As you can see, I did not use the words diet and exercise. These are curses to me!!!! This is not something you can do for a little while and stop.  These are mental changes that we need to incorporate into our daily routines.  This should be a lifestyle change that we should strive to achieve.
