The Alohilani Resort Hotel is my first hotel that I have visited in Hawaii. It is located on the Island of Oaho in the beautiful province of Waikiki in Honolulu. It is such a beautiful place and so many features that you literally do not need to leave the hotel to get a great experience. So, let me give you a brief tour to help you see this amazing place. Being a short distance from the airport, you don’t have to worry about leaving too early or missing too much due to the drive from the airport. Very convenience to the airport. Set your vacation plans now and start changing your vacation tastes.
Alohilani Resort Hotel History
The Alohilani resort and properties have been dedicated their past amazing Queen, Lili’uokalani. Because of her love, dedication and devotion to Hawaii. Lydia Liliʻu Loloku Walania Kamakaʻeha was the last and only queen regnant and sovereign monarch of the Hawaiian kingdom. She was also the only Queen of the region. During her reign from September 2, 1838 until November 11, 1917. Due to her love of her people, she saw to the welfare of them. With a heart of gold, she made sure that they were protected in all things. Including shutting down the ports when a smallpox epidemic broke out, killing almost 36% of the island population.
Later in her life, the Sovereign government was overturned and she was imprisoned as the Islands became a republic. However, during that time she constructed her memoirs which were later published as Hawaiʻi’s Story by Hawaiʻi’s Queen. She is also the composer of the song”Aloha ʻOe” and several other works.

This amazing resort sits just a little back from the ocean itself. However, depending on which room you choose, you will have a beautiful view of the ocean at any time of the day. If not the ocean view, you will have the ability to view the amazing downtown area. With shops and amenities scattered throughout the resort, this all inclusive retreat is a wonder to behold. If you are looking for a total relaxing experience, then this is the place for you.
The Spa:
If you need to relaxing, then visit the onsite spa. Here you will have the luxury of getting all the kinks worked out of your muscles and joints. With several options to choose from, getting this done within the first few hours you are here will help you destress and give you the ability to enjoy your total experience here.
Pool and Hot Tub:
If you are like me, there are times that the ocean is not what I want. In this beautiful Alohilani Resort Hotel, I have the ability to spend the day in the pool. With a water fall tile feature, I have the experience to relax in the pool and then move to side of the pool and have an amazing
view of the ocean and downtown. If I get tire of the pool, with just a few steps I am in the hot tub. The best thing about this is the water. Because they are salt-based water, it feels amazing. So soothing and relaxing. The temperature of either is not too hot or too cold. It is very easy to go from one to the other without suffering from temperature shock.
Shopping at the Alohilani Resort Hotel
For those that enjoy a good shopping experience, you are in the perfect location. With small boutique shops throughout the hotel, you literally do not need to leave this all inclusive resort. You have the convenient shop at the end of the hotel to get all those little things you forgot as well as some souvenirs for friends and family. You can also visit the wonderful boutiques available. They offer amazing jewelry, clothes, accessories as well as restaurants and coffee shops. It is such an amazing feeling to wakeup in the morning to fresh beach air, sunrise and the smell of coffee and food.
Visit the Nightlife
When you visit the Islands and although this wonderful resort is all inclusive, get out and experience the culture. Walking downtown and seeing the culture is so good and helps to create lasting memories. Visiting the local parks and beaches can give you some lasting memories. Here the Alohilani Resort Hotel, you are virtually within driving distance of the Diamond Head Volcanic cone and monument. If you want to see some other war history, then visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial. It will give you a true feeling of what our soldiers do to make our country great to enable us to enjoy our freedoms.
Then take at least one night to go and experience a Luau on the Island. It is so amazing. To hear and see the culture live is an experience you will never forget. At the Luau you will hear the story of the Islands from beginning to the end. Here you will be able to see the culture from the Natives and hopefully gain a better experience and knowledge of the people here.
Then you have the nightlife. Visiting the local beach clubs and restaurants is definitely a must. I have yet to be bored here. From live music on the beach, to dancing on the beach to the delicious food. Meeting new people and finding new things in common is so refreshing. Even though you are from all over the world, you are here in this amazing place with something in common.
Travel the world
Here at the Alohilani Resort Hotel it is one of my stops in my journey to travel the world. If you are looking for an amazing adventure to experience and make so many memories in one place, then you need to make this place one of your stops in your agenda and journey to travel the world. Don’t limit yourself to just your area. There is a whole world out there and some wonderful people and amazing places to see. Get out of your comfort zone and experience the world.
