Romantic ideas could be the key you need to unlock the romance in your life. So who needs romance? It is a question some people ask every day but especially around Valentine’s Day. This day seems to bring all sorts of romantic notions to the forefront. Mostly questions about what constitutes romance and who should be the giver and/or receiver of the romance. Well I have a few romantic ideas that may help shed some light on the situation. However, it may be a little one-sided since it comes from a Woman’s point of view.
Flowers
Yes, flowers. It is a simple but effective gesture. Giving flowers for random occasions is such a great way to say “I love you”, “Just thinking about you”, “I’m Sorry”. If you are a little naughty, flowers can say “It’s been a long day, do you need a hug and then some loving”, “Master is ready”, Bedroom date tonight?”, The kids are at moms”. Anything you want to say can be said with a simple flower arrangement.
Chocolate and Wine
Along those same lines, you can stage a romantic interlude at home. After they receive the flowers, set the stage at home for some quiet and romance. Play some soft music. Have a nice meal ready, take-out from your favorite restaurant or cook if you can. Make sure that the wine is chilled if white or breathing if red to enhance the meal.
After dinner, run a night hot bubble bath for two and bring the wine and some of your favorite chocolates. You can also relax in front of a nice roaring fire and cuddle with your favorite wine and your favorite box of chocolates. The appeal is the relaxed and stress-free setting for just the two of you.
Spontaneity
Be spontaneous. If you know you both have some time off, surprise her with a weekend getaway. Get away from the job, the kids, the dog and rediscover each other. Romance is a chance to rediscover who you consider your significant other. Learn to talk again, see what has changes with you as a couple over the time you have been together. Reconnect with your life goals, aspirations and dreams. See if you are still on the same path and if not — WORK IT OUT!!! Life is too short to let pettiness get in the way of your love and romance. So take the time to find romance together and rediscover and reconnect together as a couple.
Need travel ideas
Depending where you are, you know most of the places that you can travel to in a day or weekend. Remember this is about romance, stress-free fun, and relaxation. Some where you both enjoy that only requires an overnight bag. Yes ladies just ONE overnight bag.
- In the south, we have Atlanta, Savannah, Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, Charlotte, Raleigh, Chimney Rock, Cherokee, Charleston, Wilmington
- Farther South, there is New Orleans, Tampa, Orlando, Key West, Key Largo,
- A little to the north, you have Philadelphia, New York City, Martha’s Vineyard
- If you fly, there are several places you can enjoy for an overnight stay. Las Vegas, Seattle, So many places in California, Detroit.
- Exotic destinations are doable also, put they need some planning. Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, or visit any of the Palace Resort Hotels for a great romantic weekend getaway.
The list is endless. You know your area, your likes and dislikes far better than I do. So use your imagination and see where it takes you.
DIAMONDS
I have saved this for the end although it is not the last. Diamonds, diamonds, and more diamonds. I am sure you have heard the song “Diamonds are a girls best friend”. Well that is so true. Diamonds in any form is a great way to express romance. Giving diamonds is just, well … AWESOME!!! In my opinion the giver of diamonds lets the receiver know how they think and feel about them. Diamonds are not cheap, but sometimes you can get them at a great discounted price. So if you are giving them, it says a lot about your relationship.
We all like a little bling every now and then. Diamonds are the ultimate, but any jewelry of quality and taste can be equally telling. Women love getting gifts of jewelry. Just make sure that you know what your significant other likes. Which means, you need to know them. If not, then you need to start from the beginning of this page and work your way back through. You missed something along the way.
Romance is not the same
Romance is different for everyone and it does not fit into a mold. It is totally dependent on the person. To romance someone, you need to know them. Their likes and dislikes. What makes them happy. How do they spend their quiet time. Where do they like to travel.
To know any of these things mean that you have built a relationship. You talk. Communication is key in any relationship. If you find yourself in a place where there is no communication, then you need to find out why. Get the romance back. Discover some romantic ideas that are outside the norm.
It all boils down to this. you want to make sure you and your significant other live a long and happy life together and experience all the romance you can until the end.
So if you like flowers, chocolate and wine, travel, diamonds or just spending time alone, romance can be found just about anywhere. You just need to know where to look. But more important, you need to know who you are romancing. If you don’t know that, anything you do will fall flat.
So Who Needs Romance – Romantic Ideas
Everyone, at some point, needs some romance in their life. Even men need romance. So ladies let’s not forget our men. They like the occasional foot rub, back rub or massage. Some may even enjoy flowers and I know all men love to eat. However, it can be hard to think of romantic ideas that your significant other may enjoy.
So experiment, step outside the box and rediscover, reconnect and enjoy one another with romance. A little wine with that romance is also a great icebreaker. You would be surprised with your romantic ideas if you just listened and be observant to what your significant other enjoys. I promise you a night quiet night together with a good meal and a bottle of wine would be a great romantic idea in my idea.
