To romance with wine is about the best way I know to break the ice.  It is difficult enough to get to know someone without have the shyness that a lot of us seem to be endowed with.  However, finding that common ground can be a big icebreaker.  Talking about a great fine wine is just the topic you can enjoy with that special someone.  Romance is also a great way to make sure that you encourage a good relationship into a great one.  You cannot have the type of relationship that will last without romance.  Having a romance with wine included can help achieve that goal.

When you meet someone for the first time, you need that icebreaker to get things going. You set a time and place to get together.  Here you get the chance to talk and discover each other.  You get to see if you are compatible and are a good match for each other.  Once you have concluded that you are, you progress to a more serious relationship. One way is to set a date night.  Having a night to relax with a great meal and a good bottle of fine wine can go a long way to rekindle a relationship. I know that I love a great steak, medium rare. It goes well with a baked potato and a Cesar salad paired with a great Merlot or Malbec. Savoring a great meal and having a meaningful conversation with a great wine is amazing.  Having no distractions to get in the way of reconnecting and catching up on each others life helps you relax. Just let yourself be together. sometimes we all need to just breath the day way.

Spontaneity is a must with any relationship. At least to me it is. A picnic in the park with a great bottle of wine. Delicious food is a great way to rekindle any romance. Reading a good book together on a blanket under the tree, relaxing in the sunshine and watching the day go by is a perfect backdrop to get the romance started.  With nothing to get in your way, you can have a meaningful conversion. Catch up with each other.  With some much that can distract us, we need that alone time to reconnect and rediscover each other as a couple.

Water is relative to wine when you are enjoying it in a hot tub!!! Hot tubs is ideal for relaxing.  Relaxing in a hot tub after a romantic dinner and continuing the romance with a glass of wine and some soft music, it really the best way to end a romantic night. Image sitting in the swirling hot water, muscle relaxing, drinking a nice Riesling or a Merlot. Then discussing ways to end the date on a more positive note in the luxury of your bedroom!!!! OHHLALA.

Romance on the Beach

If you are like me, nothing screams romance that a night stroll on the beach.   Finding a secluded spot and sitting down on a blanket to watch the waves, see the stars, feel the cool breeze and having a glass of Pinot Noir or Cabernet is very romantic. There is something about the beach that just makes you want to have that romance and wine anything of the year or any season.

If you enjoy hot, steaming baths, having a bubble bath and a glass of Chardonnay is divine.  Coming home from work and finding the kids gone, a candle-lite dinner prepared is heavenly.  But then to later have a hot bubble bath run for you to enjoy together with a your glass of chardonnay is just off the charts.  To me this spells the ultimate in romance and deserves an equally romantic reward.

In conclusion, it is safe to say that wine and romance is a great way to relax and reconnect with each other.  As the days and years go by, don’t let life steal your joy of each other.  Take the time to be romantic, spontaneous and enjoy each other.  because if you think about, once the kids are gone and you are finished with the rat race of a job, there will only be the two of you.  IF you have lost each other over the years, it will be hard to survive the following years.
