Do you know how to edit a website? You may ask, “Why would I need to edit a website?” Well, sometimes your website can become a bit dated. Or there are times were you may lose an affiliate and need to update your pages. On the other hand, maybe you want to gain more traffic. With all the new technology and most people shopping online for all the things they need, having the best possible website on the market can possibly make the difference between having a hobby income and developing a lifestyle change income.
CONTENT, KEYWORDS AND SEO
Content, content and yes content is the key to getting people to visit your website. You can have all the programs in the world to offer people, but if you don’t have the content to draw them to you, all you have is just a bunch of links. We all search the web for the things that we are looking for. What makes us decide which website to read is essentially the one that most appeals to us.
If it looks boring or too wordy, we look over it. We want something that is eye-catching and appealing. It needs to be related to what we are searching for but more importantly, it needs to get my interest. As a result, I find it best to add content that I know something about. It makes it easier for me to not only write about a subject but actually put myself in the readers perspective. Using my own talents, experiences and general knowledge, helps me to give better advice, show more interest and have a better repore with my readers. They will be able to feel my passion through my writing. Also, I will be able to better convey my point if I am confident in the content I am writing about. 
Headlines:
Write your page as if you are talking to someone. Then come back and organize your thoughts into headlines. You will need a headline about every 100 to 150 words. This helps your reader to not get bored or your page to appear too wordy. Keep the topic flowing and the transition smooth from one thought to another. It is always easier to organize once you see what you have to work with. Then you will be able to rearrange sentences and construct paragraphs for better readability and SEO.
Keywords: How to Edit a Website
Finding the best keyword can be difficult sometimes. As those with websites are always competing to get the best SEO. However, your content helps with getting that keyword search ranked. But, you want to make sure that the keyword you use for your site is an actual keyword or phrase that people are searching for. Just because it sounds good does not mean it is what people are actually using in a search engine like Google, Yahoo, or even Bing. Finding relevant keywords and phrase can be the difference between you ranking on the last page of a search or on the optimum search pages where the most traffic is looking pages 1-5.

What is SEO? That is the process in which you can increase the quality and quantity of your website traffic. You increase the visibility of your website or page to the user or web search by having the optimum tools, such as keywords and phrases. As most companies pay to have their website ranked high on these search engines, having good SEO helps to improve your chances among unpaid websites of gaining traffic to your site to optimize your placement and ranking. It also helps increase the earning potential of your website by gaining this traffic based on your SEO and great key phrases or words.
WHAT…. YOU DON’T HAVE A WEBSITE!!

APPEARANCE – HOW TO EDIT A WEBSITE
Now that you have your content, keyphrase and SEO established, lets make your website visible. What do I mean by making it visible? How about we add some images to the content of our page.
Most shoppers are visual shopping. They click on something because it caught their attention. Your images are your attention grabbers and your content is what keeps them around. However, too many words and not enough visual stimulation can cause a reader to leave your site. You remember when you were in high school and had to read a book for a book report. What usually helped you determine if you wanted to read the book? You looked through the pictures of the book to see if they interested you. If it didn’t, you selected another book. If it had no pictures, most likely you didn’t even give it a second thought.
Our shopping experiences work along the same pattern. Something catches our eye, we skim the material to see if it is consistent. Then we sit down and actually read to see what the book or article is about. Our websites will work along these same principles and guidelines. So make your website unique but keep it simple and tasteful. You just want to catch the eye, not create a photo album. Make sure your images and even videos enhance your content and not over power it. An image or video about every 200 – 250 words is adequate for any page. But again, always look to your YOAST, if you have it on your website, for ways to improve your page for indexing.
AFFILIATES
What is an affiliate? These are companies who have determined that the internet is a viable marketing place for their goods and services. As a result, they have established programs that allow online marketers, through websites, blogs and link posting, to market for them. They range from financial institutions, gaming, computer and internet services, food and entertainment and well as travel and clothes.
How awesome is it to go online, order, say fine wine from Napa Valley, and have it delivered to your door. From just a click of a link on your computer and you have wine delivered to you. Or better yet, have anyone searching on the web find your website or blog page explaining how to get wine delivered to them, they click your link, order their wine and you get a nice email stating you have earned $20 commission. That sound like a great plan to me. 
That is what the affiliates do. They set up all the tools you will need to market their goods and services on your website or blog page and you earn commissions for every purchase made through that link. What a way to earn some residual income. You can turn your website into a real money maker with the right affiliates and some great marketing. There are several program out there that allow you to market their goods and services for free.

Once your site is updates and new pages added and affiliates selected, now you want to market your pages or website to the masses. How do you do that? Well, there are several different ways.
You can do paid marketing. Facebook allows you to set up business marketing where you can pay to have your pages seen by groups of people that you set up. However, this can be pricey. So, I would use this as a last option.
Social media marketing is a huge success. As we all use our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other such marketing platforms daily, we have already developed a following of sort. This is a great place to get the word out about your website or blog. By interspersing a few ads throughout the day along with your personal notes, you will be able to advertise your content. Another way and I feel the best way is through free ads sites. There are a ton of them available on the web. Just type in free ad sites and you will be amazed what you will find. Then it is just a simple matter of registering with the programs and setting up your templates. Then you can just copy and paste your marketing ads to the various locations that they are available to market to.

Every website or blog page should have some type of lead generation added to it. I use response magic. It is a great tool to have and will enable anyone visiting my site to register with me. This will allow you to create a customer base for a website. Which will then enable you to send out updated pages and any types of offers that will get them back to your site.

You don’t need to have a degree to create ad templates. It is fairly simple. Just use the material in your blog page as a bases for creating your template.
